VISA INFORMATION
Getting to Estonia is easy since Estonia joined European Union in 2004. EU citizens, Americans, Australians, Canadians, and New Zealanders do not need visas to visit. However if you do need one, you at least have the consolation that an „Estonian visa“ is valid throughout most of Europe as Estonia is in the Schengen area. Equally, if you have started your tour in another Schengen country, the visa is valid in Estonia, too.

Check the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website if you are in any doubt. There you will find the latest information about visas and details of Estonian embassies abroad, where they can be obtained.

Main advantages why travel to Estonia:

  • good value for money – international standard hotels are at very good rate; many hotels have been recently built or renovated;
  • compact – hotels and venues are in walking distance in the very city centre, transfers are hardly needed;
  • unique event venues – from medieval old town buildings to modern conference halls;
  • technically advanced, free wireless Internet connection in hotel rooms and venues;
  • safe – EU, Schengen and NATO member country, low criminal rate;
  • English is widely spoken.

On the behalf of the Symposium organisers, we wish you a pleasant stay in Estonia!
